For the two last weeks I am working on a new portfolio site which gives a detailled overview of my current skill set in photography, prototyping or web design. Though some of the content – especially some further videos, prototypes, sketches and photos – is still missing, you can visite the site on http://portfolio.carlbednorz.de.
That are the main features I’ve implemented so far:
Due to the CSS3 values the complete experience of hover animations is only provided by the current Safari and Chrome browser as well as the beta version of Firefox 4. Unfortunately there exist a little bug regarding opacity and the font-style but exceptionally on windows machines while on mac os everything works fine. Next plan is to eliminate some bugs in the image galleries, extend the site content and to improve some of the descriptions.

Last Saturday I’ve bought myself a brand new Canon EOS 550 D which is currently replacing my old Canon EOS 20D. After just two days I’m really fascinated about the image quality and the easy handling, but the HD movie mode is so far the best feature. I’m somehow – already now – completely addicted by shooting those awesome high quality clips. Though I’ve never recorded or cut a video before, yesterday was my first time when I was out for a walk along the rhine river promenade gazing the flooding.
